Good Karma is Good.

Recap of my day: 

• I woke up at 6:30 AM (don't ask why o.0), and left for yard/estate sales about 8. Usually, I find all of the yard sales I want to visit on craigslist, and I had found one out in a little town about 30 minutes from me. When I arrived, the lady greeted me with the sweetest smile and "hello!". I ended up helping her move and set up all of the rest of the stuff until her partner arrived a hour later. It ended up helping as I got a picnic basket, wicker basket, and two scarfs for free! woo! She was the sweetest lady and I found out she actually is the manager of one of the thrift stores I go to...so i hope to see her again one day. 
• Next, I headed to my town for an estate sale that i've been dying to go to for a couple of weeks. There were a ton of people there and I ended up with an old polaroid camera, photo frame, earrings, and a future gift for one of my friends. twas a success! 
• I'm petsitting a lady's kitty and turtle for the next two weeks, so I went to her house to go over instructions. 
• Saw Luke
• Went to Tiffany's to see her new turtles
• and my bike is here and complete! i rode it down the street, but i want to ride it more! i just can't justify burning alive in this 103 degree weather. :/

yard sale success!

three dresses; a cardigan; a manga; a headband & a belt

my mom had surgery today, and boy, do i have more respect for her than ever. i honestly don't see how she takes care of us so well when we're down and sick. taking care of her for one day so far, is hard work...not hard, but time-consuming would be a better word for it. she's doing terrific though, and i'm super excited for her and to see how her body will turn out. she's the best mom i could ever ask for and she deserves it.

finally! i found the bed frame i had been looking for on craigslist. it's a brown hopen from ikea, and they don't make the brown anymore, only the black. so, i got extremely lucky. i love it, and my room so much now. all i need is a new dresser&nightstand now.

also, my mom was cleaning out the stuff that we brought back from my grandpa's house when he passed, and i found my grandma's sewing box! (which was passed down from HER mother) so many generations, and hopefully, i'll be able to pass it down to my future daughter. :)

cassie girl was just being a friendly little thing today! these dogs are my life, i don't know how i would exist without them. <3

my boyfriend is crazy.

i really really wish this was lighter. funniest thing i've seen in a LONG time!
